Dance is good for your brain as it encourages you to practise remembering, keeping in time, socializing. As all this is happening your brain is working making you more alert.
Confidence:
Dancers are strikingly at ease and sociable precisely because they have met and overcome this fear dancing can change your whole way of looking at life.
Keeps your body toned and helps keep your heart in good condition, It's a sociable form of exercise, that really burns the calories.
Stress
Dance as stress relief can help you reveal your inner problems and anxiety. It is considered that through dance sessions you can overcome the stress accumulated in your body. All the hostility, anger and depression are released through the dance movements on music.
Social
Being confident to step on to the dance floor is a great asset, you will stand out and be noticed if you are gliding around that dance floor.
Self discipline
Dancing is great for fitness and self-esteem, you can learn vital social interaction skills.
Fun
Sure, its a clich, but its still true. Time on the dance floor flies past. Dancing can bring any wedding, office party, family reunion to life. You move to great music, spin, dip, and grapevine, and when you take a break, people come and tell you how great you look.
Thats it for now, so go ahead and take some dance classes. Get out there and learn!
